At Haus-Neufus Long Coat German Shepherds, we breed with a focus on correct structure, sound temperament, health, intelligence, working ability, and German Shepherd breed type.

The German Shepherd Sieger Show gives us an opportunity to have our dogs evaluated while competing alongside quality German Shepherds from other breeding programs.

From our home in Central Ohio, dogs bred, owned, or represented by Haus-Neufus have earned notable results at USCA Sieger Shows, Canadian Sieger Shows, National and Universal Sieger events, and Regional competitions.

Here are some of the accomplishments we are most proud of.

2026 Canadian Sieger Show

Alta Tollhaus Jermaine Jackson "Jerzy"

VP1 • Champion Puppy

Jerzy earned VP1 and Champion Puppy honors at the 2026 Canadian Sieger Show.

VP stands for Very Promising, a rating given to puppies showing excellent quality and potential for their age. VP1 represents a first-place result within the class.

It was an exciting accomplishment for Jerzy and an impressive start to his young show career.

Alta Tollhaus Onri

VP1 • Champion Puppy

Onri also earned VP1 and Champion Puppy at the 2026 Canadian Sieger Show.

Having two young dogs earn VP1 Champion Puppy honors at the same Sieger Show made the event especially memorable for Haus-Neufus.

Meet Jerzy, Onri, and other developing prospects on our Young German Shepherds page.

2026 South Central Regional

Zitan vom Haus Neufus

V1 • Regional Sieger • Working Long Coat Male

Zitan earned V1 and Regional Sieger honors at the 2026 South Central Regional.

The V rating means Excellent and is used for qualifying adult German Shepherds in eligible working classes. V1 represents a first-place Excellent result within the class.

Becoming Regional Sieger marked another major achievement in Zitan's show career.

Zenzi vom Haus Neufus

V2 • Regional Vice Siegerin • Working Long Coat Female

Zenzi earned V2 and Regional Vice Siegerin at the 2026 South Central Regional.

Her second-place Excellent result in the Working Long Coat Female class added another significant adult show accomplishment for Haus-Neufus.

Alta Tollhaus Jermaine Jackson "Jerzy"

VP1 • Regional Sieger • Champion Puppy

Jerzy continued his strong start by earning another VP1, along with Regional Sieger and Champion Puppy honors.

Combined with his Canadian Sieger Show result, Jerzy has already built an exciting record as a young German Shepherd.

2025 USCA Sieger Show

Zitan vom Haus Neufus

V3 • Working Long Coat Male

Zitan earned an impressive V3 at the 2025 USCA Sieger Show.

A top-three Excellent placement in the Working Long Coat Male class marked another major step in his development as an adult show dog.

Sasa Team von den Hohen Berg

SG6

Sasa earned SG6 at the 2025 USCA Sieger Show.

SG means Very Good, an important rating within the German Shepherd show system.

Kenessie vom Haus Neufus

VP4

Kenessie earned VP4 at the 2025 USCA Sieger Show, adding another national Sieger Show placement for a young dog carrying the Haus-Neufus name.

2023 USCA GSD National Championship & Universal Sieger

Mailo vom Haus Neufus

V1 • Working Long Coat Male

Mailo earned an outstanding V1 in the Working Long Coat Male class at the 2023 USCA GSD National Championship / Universal Sieger event.

A first-place Excellent result at a national-level event remains one of the standout accomplishments associated with Haus-Neufus.

V10 • Working Long Coat Female

Zarah earned V10 in the Working Long Coat Female class at the 2023 Sieger Show.

Khalessi von der Tempelhoeve

SG5

Khalessi earned an SG5 placement at the 2023 Sieger Show.

Zitan vom Haus Neufus

VP3

Zitan earned VP3 early in his show career at the 2023 Sieger Show.

What makes this accomplishment particularly meaningful is what came next:

2023 Sieger Show — VP32025 USCA Sieger Show — V32026 South Central Regional — V1 Regional Sieger

Zitan's progression from a Very Promising puppy to a V-rated adult Regional Sieger is something we are extremely proud of.

What Do VP, SG and V Mean?

If you're new to German Shepherd Sieger Shows, the ratings can be confusing.

VP — Very Promising

Used for puppies showing strong quality and potential for their age.

SG — Very Good

An important rating used in applicable German Shepherd show classes.

V — Excellent

Used for qualifying adult German Shepherds competing in eligible working classes.

The number indicates placement within the applicable rating and class. For example, VP1 represents first place among the applicable Very Promising puppies, while V1 represents first place among the applicable Excellent-rated dogs.

Ratings should always be considered in the context of the dog's age, class, event, and organization.

From Promising Puppies to Proven Adults

A puppy placement is exciting, but our goals at Haus-Neufus extend far beyond winning a puppy class.

We want to see our dogs mature into German Shepherds demonstrating:

  • Correct structure and movement

  • Sound temperament

  • Intelligence and trainability

  • Confidence and character

  • Health

  • Working ability

  • Correct German Shepherd breed type

Zitan is a great example of that progression.

His journey from VP3 in 2023 to V3 in 2025 and V1 Regional Sieger in 2026 shows why we believe a German Shepherd should be evaluated over the course of its development.

Today, young dogs such as Jerzy and Onri give us even more reason to be excited about the future.

More Than German Shepherd Show Dogs

Conformation is important to Haus-Neufus, but a German Shepherd should be more than beautiful.

Temperament, confidence, intelligence, trainability, and working ability matter just as much.

Training and continued development give our dogs opportunities to demonstrate qualities that cannot be measured by appearance alone.

Our relationship with Noble K9 Training provides opportunities for pet and sport dog training, including obedience, tracking, and continued development.

For us, breeding, evaluation, training, and development all work together.

Long Coat German Shepherds in Central Ohio

Haus-Neufus is a Long Coat German Shepherd breeding program in Central Ohio focused on German show lines.

Our breeding decisions go far beyond individual show placements. We consider pedigree, health, temperament, structure, working characteristics, and what each dog may contribute to future generations.

Continuing the Haus-Neufus Tradition

Every German Shepherd Sieger Show placement represents more than a ribbon.

Behind every result are years of breeding decisions, pedigree research, raising puppies, training, conditioning, handling, travel, and dedication to the German Shepherd Dog.

Our goal remains simple:

Produce Long Coat German Shepherds with correct structure, sound character, intelligence, working ability, and the beauty and presence expected of an exceptional German Shepherd Dog.

We are proud of what our dogs have accomplished in the Sieger ring.

We are even more excited about what comes next.
